You’re going to love this beautiful lot of stylish homewares from Oliver Bonas. This company stocks lots of pretty things, but one or two of their latest bits are absolutely perfect for classy travel lovers like us. They immediately made it onto my Pinterest pages, but they also thoroughly deserve a little Taylor Hearts Travel limelight.
Suitcase Side Table
This adorably unique side table is such a cutie and is a lovely reminder to pack your bags every once in a while (not that you need much encouragement). You can find it here.
What do you need to go with your unique furniture? A vintage map of course! There’s an adorable shop in San Francisco which sells beautiful vintage maps of every destination in different sizes and colours. After nearly losing my Peruvian painting I didn’t trust myself to get one, so this framed vintage map of the world from 1945 looks like a great alternative. It shows the main shipping and rail routes, as well as the borders as they existed then, but let’s not lie. It’s simply a beautiful map.
Globetrotter Side Cabinet
And what do you need to go with your side table? Well, a side cabinet of course! This vintage table looks a little more rustic, which makes it all the more unique. In Goa there are loads of trunks and trinkets that look like they’d belong in this family, especially in this turquoise colour. This cabinet is a little deeper than the first one, so it’d be a great space to store your travel magazines. It’s even lined with a charming map print. What more could you want?
So this amazing armchair might not be covered in maps of the world, but don’t you think the bright colours just shout ‘Cuba’? Those famous vintage Cuban cars are often painted in bold jade and vivid pink. Rather than buying a car, one of these armchairs seems a better option. You can also buy the same design as a sofa or footrest, or perhaps buy the whole lot…?
