Welcome to this month’s round-up of travel gossip here on Taylor Hearts Travel. You’ll find out what I’ve been up to and what’s coming up in the next few months.

Looking Back

You may have noticed (or not) that I haven’t posted nearly as much as I normally do. Sorry! I’ve been a little under the weather so things slowed down a little. However, following a recent trip I did manage to share my top seven things to do and see in Amsterdam. Do you have any tips or recommendations to add to it? I also dedicated a #SundayServed post to Bluespoon Restaurant in Amsterdam. It’s an open kitchen serving delicious, unique bites and it’s also home to a very tempting dessert table. Have a look at the drool worthy pics if you don’t believe me!

March also took the blog to London and I shared some amazing views of the city thanks to The View from The Shard, and most recently, Darwin Brasserie at The Sky Garden. Big thanks also to my lovely sister for being my model. Isn’t that what all sisters are for?!

This month was also an exciting one because the Taylor Hearts Travel GoPro Hero 3 giveaway with Southall Travel closed and I got to tell the lucky winner that they’d been chosen. That’s definitely got to be one of my fave things about blogging.

Well, that and receiving emails from you guys. Blogging can be a lonely affair and so to receive lovely messages saying how much you rate Taylor Hearts Travel means the world to me and really motivates me to keep going. You remind me that there are so many ‘silent readers’ and just because you don’t leave a comment, doesn’t mean you don’t enjoy reading my posts. I’m often short on time and don’t manage to write a comment on other people’s blogs, so I totally get it. Anyway, thanks and always feel free to email me if you have a question or are looking for some travel advice.

The end of March took me to Traverse 2015; a travel blogging conference. I spent the day taking part in classes about things like photography, social media, videos and SEO. I treat this blog as a second job, so I’m always keen to learn new things and to keep ahead. It’s also a great excuse to catch up with other bloggers, though I didn’t get to do as much of that as I’d have liked. Ah well – I guess it’s an excuse for another trip to London! If you didn’t get to go to the conference just search #Traverse15 to recap.

Looking Ahead

So, as you read this I will be taking part in a super exciting photoshoot. I can’t tell you any more than that just yet, but I’m hoping to reveal the big news really, really soon. I’m just dying to tell you all!

This week I’m also off to France to spend some time in Nice and then Cannes. I’ll be Tweeting and Instagramming along the way and you can expect to see some blog posts shortly afterwards. I’m not looking forward to my 4am start to get the flight out, but as with all adventures I’m sure it’ll be worth the struggle.

Towards the middle of the month I’ll be going back to London for the About Time Magazine pitching class. It’s set to be a full day of fun and learning how to pitch to print and online publications. You can find the details here. Are you going?

Further ahead I have two more big trips in the pipeline. As soon as I get the green light I’ll spill, promise.

Until then, how has your March been and what trips do you have coming up? X
