360 rotating car seats are worth their weight in gold and the new Nuna REBL Plus iSize car seat from the SUITED collection ticks that box and so much more.
If you’re a regular here you’ll know how much I love the Nuna products. They’re stylish and chic, whilst also being reliable and practical. With baby number two on the way and the need for an extra car seat they were my first port of call. I’ve made an unboxing and review video, but if that’s not your thing scroll down…
5 Reasons to Love the Nuna REBL Plus iSize car seat
❤ 360 Rotation
Without a doubt this is the most important thing I look for in a car seat and I imagine in the not too distant future all car seats will be made in this way. With this seat you can turn it so that when you open your car door the seat is facing you. You simply lift your little one into the seat, buckle them up and then turn the seat to either face rearward or forwards.
It means that you don’t have to lift your little one at an awkward angle trying to get them effectively up and over into the seat. If you’ve ever tried getting an unwilling toddler into a car seat I’m sure you’ll know exactly what I mean!
Now that I’m pregnant and looking after a toddler I’m even more grateful for the 360 rotation. This feature also means that we have the flexibility to seat him both rearwards and forwards.
The REBL Plus is suitable from birth all the way to age four (subject to weight of course). That means you don’t have to faff about with a newborn car seat that only gets used for a few months and then buy another one.
It’s also ideal if you’ve got more than one child. I’ll be able to use this car seat with the new baby, as well as Nova (19months old) by simply adding or removing the seat inserts (which come as standard). Talk about getting your money’s worth, eh?!
❤ It’s Stylish
Nuna has brought out a new collection called SUITED and I know you’ll love it too. All the pieces have that luxurious tailored feel to them – think subtle hand-sewn leather-look trims and premium fabrics in classy grey hues.
The car seat looks timeless and gender neutral, so I have no doubt it’ll be used again and again.
❤ It Reclines
Nova always falls asleep on journeys that are longer than ten minutes, so we tend to put the seat in full recline. It means that he can kick back comfortably and I don’t have to worry about his head slumping forward.
The seat comes with an insert to be used if your child is less than a certain weight so make sure you read up and use it if needed, otherwise you may find they lean forward.
The seat has a seven-point recline, so that’s seven different angles you can utilise. However, we tend to only use two – fully upright or full recline.
I don’t know if it’s just Nova, but he always gets so sweaty in his car seat even with minimal clothes on and the air con blasting. The REBL Plus has seat ventilation panels and an additional airy mesh seat and headrest cover. Thank you Nuna!
It’s worth me mentioning that the REBL Plus is the newer and improved version of the REBL. It’s much stronger and thicker than its predecessor. We travel loads in the UK so it’s reassuring to have a car seat that’s built to last our stylish adventures.
The SUITED collection is exclusively being sold at Mothercare, so you can find the technical jargon and detailed specification for the Nuna REBL Plus iSize Car Seat over there.

Big thanks to Nuna for gifting this car seat, though we would have brought it anyway. Great minds think alike!
